DIY your own Vintage Christmas mugs!

Vintage Christmas decor is really popular this year, so I created some beautiful diys to share with you. These mugs came from Dollar Tree, and I like them because they have a straight side and a nice lip on the top which makes them easy to work with.

Next, I searched for some vintage graphics on Creative Fabrica. There are tons to choose from but I liked these two options the best. Copy and paste the names of the images into the search bar on Creative Fabrica so you can download them. They will be in a 'zipped' file so you will need to extract them first.

These downloads include multiple images so you can select which ones you like best for your project. I used Google Drawings to resize the images to the size of the mug, 4" high by approximately 9.5" wide. Make sure you measure your mugs so the images will fit.

The method I used to apply the images is called waterslide decal. It's a shiny paper that has a coating on it that you print the pictures on to. For a full tutorial on how to use waterslide paper, click on my video below.

Waterslide decal paper is available on Amazon, and I've found some really good deals for you here.

If you try this project I'd love to see it! Tag me on Instagram, share on my Facebook page, or email me.

Happy Crafting!
